XCOM: Enemy Unknown Showcase Starts January 18

After Borderlands 2, 2K Games is coming back with another exciting game promotion opportunity, this time for XCOM: Enemy Unknown, an intense remake of the original strategy game deemed by the press as "one of the absolute best games to come out last year".

The publisher is offering iGames members Steam keys for the game and for its Slingshot DLC released in December, which allows iGames to offer you this free showcase. All North America and Europe centers open with at least 4 PCs and in good standing are eligible to receive 8 Steam keys (4 for the game and 4 for the DLC). North American centers will also receive XCOM: Enemy Unknown posters, courtesy of NVIDIA.

Digital assets will be made available to all members in our website’s Downloads section for centers to promote the game to their players through their website, Facebook page, newsletters, etc.

The official game showcase will take place January 18-31.

We hope that the holidays treated you well and that you had lots of excited gamers who came to play and keep warm in front of your cozy machines.

Over the coming weeks we'll be meeting with our partners to resume discussions about their and our plans and projects related to LAN centers for this year.

We'll then present you with upcoming promotion opportunities for the next quarters.

Meanwhile, we would also like to hear from you and take your ideas, interests and priorities into account when shaping up those plans.

NVIDIA Gear Up Borderlands 2 PC Showcase Starts Nov. 15

2K Games and NVIDIA have teamed up with iGames to bring you and your gamers the Borderlands 2 Showcase, featuring the recently released sequel to the four-player role-playing shooter action game.

Registration is now open for this two-week game showcase. All participating LAN centers in North America and Europe will receive 4 game key codes upon approval (must be a Contributor or Leadership member in good standing). North American LAN centers will also receive game posters. Digital assets will be made available to all members in our website’s Downloads section for centers to promote on their websites.

Borderlands 2 is the epic sequel to the ultimate four-player role-playing shooter loot fest. Publisher Update: Hawken Beta Starts on October 26

Meteor and NVIDIA have teamed up with iGames to bring you and your gamers Hawken, a fast-action multiplayer mech combat game in the first-person shooter genre, launching on December 12, 2012.

** We previously mentioned that the Beta was due to start on October 11, however the publisher pushed the launch date to October 26. At that time only a few lucky will be able to obtain key codes, among which iGames LAN centers and their gamers on site.**

(After that first weekend, gamers will be able to obtain codes to access the game from home as well.)

You can participate by using iGamesXP, which will do all the work for you. (No codes will be given out for alternate dispersal.) Your gamers can easily go into iGamesXP, click to get a code for the beta weekend, exclusively available at iGames LAN centers, and voila! All you have to do is promote it! How to have your LAN center event seen by over 1.5M Gamers...

iGames has developed tools to get your events seen by a network of gamers all around the world. By adding events to your iGames account you could have your events displayed on iGamesXP and Alienware Arena. For StarCraft II, Battlefield 3 and League of Legends we have developed core game pages on Alienware Arena where your events will be listed. All you have to do is follow the steps and get your event added!

Step 1: When logged into your account, go to "Events" in the navigation bar on lancenters.com and click "Create Events" in the dropdown menu.
Step 2: That will navigate you to the page displayed below. Click "Create New Event" and fill in the form to add in your events.

Important Note: The core pages are linked directly to the games in the dropdown menu, so make sure to click on your game to have it displayed on the corresponding StarCraft II, Battlefield 3 and/or League of Legends page.
